Recently, I have been scouring the internet looking at couches. Our current couch is in really bad shape, and with family visiting in September we have decided we need to look for something new. We found our current couch for super cheap when we first moved to Germany, and while it wasn't at all a style that I would normally pick, the price was just about perfect. However, in the two years since we bought it, the faux leather has started peeling off and is almost completely bare on the seats and backs. Covering it with a blanket has made it just barely liveable, and I am excited to get something nicer. My biggest thing is that I don't like loose back cushions. I hate how quickly they can lose their shape, but most of the affordable couches have this unfortunate feature. Anyway, I thought I would post a couple pics of some styles we have seen online. We still need to check out a couple discount furniture stores to see if we can find a deal. I can hardly wait to get rid of the current one, and not have little pieces of faux leather all over my house. =D The first two are my favourite, I really like the look of #1, but #2 has a hide-a-bed which is kind of handy.

ReplyDeleteI know! Unfortunately, it wouldn't get delivered for until October, and I really wanted a new couch before Mum & Dad arrived. So, we ended up getting #2. It actually looks much nicer in real life than in the above picture, which I am thankful for! :)
